Jebbadiah "Jeb" Crosse is a minor antagonist in the Blood of Eden-series.
He is a major antagonist of the first book called 'The Immortal Rules' and a posthumous antagonist of the other two books.
He was the former human leader of the group heading to Eden. He is the abusive and strict father of Ezekiel Crosse, his adoptive son.
He was killed from a fall while saving Allison Sekemoto from Jackal.
Biography[]
Jebbadiah Crosse agreed that Allison Sekemoto to join their group. He knows that Allie and his adoptive son, Zeke have something. When found out Allie was a vampire, he wanted to kill her but when she trys to save her from Jackal before she found out shes Jackals blood sister.[1]
Personality[]
He is cold and often separate from the rest of his group. he rarely changes his mind on something and tries "very hard" to mold Zeke into the leader he wants him to be, and often leaves Zeke to do jobs he should be doing himself, but is a strong leader and his often harsh ways often keeps the others safe.
He can often be too strict, as he whipped Zeke with a Tv antenna, when Zeke got in a fight with Darren. The book said that Zeke's back was a web of scars, hinting that this was not the first time Jeb had done it.
He is also extremely hateful towards Allison Sekemoto, the series' main protagonist even attempting to murder during a scene in the book where she's trying to save him from Jackal.
Jeb is also a psychopath, given how he treats Ezekiel Crosse because of his hate for the vampire race.
He is one of the most hated enemies of Allison Sekemoto and probably only meant to be hated. However, Jeb has a quite tragic past because his whole family is brutally slaughtered by vampires which turned Jeb into a man with a strong hatred of vampires.
While Jeb isn't really dangerous as some other villains of the trilogy such as Sarren, Salazar and Jackal, Jeb is the only villain in the trilogy to ever commit child-abuse.
He probably didn't even care for his own group including Ezekiel Crosse and his supposed 'care' could be pragmatic. Also his attempt to save Allison from Jackal could be pragmatic rather than genuine care.
